1975 GMC Motor Coach

59,500 Original miles - front wheel drive Toronado 455 c.i.d. - automatic transmission – VIN TZE165V100914

General Motors enjoyed great success with this coach until 1979 when the Toronado Front Wheel Drive platform was discontinued.

This coach resided in an air conditioned classic car show room in Pennsylvania from 1976 until 1996.

She was then purchased by the Hunters and shipped to Golby Motor Coach Works in Orlando, Florida.

While there she underwent a total rebuild, refurbishment and makeover at a cost in excess of $100,000.

After a complete gutting, the air suspension was upgraded to quad air bag and stabilizer bars.

A thorough application of foam insulation was applied; the floor plan was totally reconfigured.

The coach now features a rear bedroom with twin beds, a side bath and galley in the center which has a full-sized 3-way refrigerator, electric couch and dinette area up front.

Every conceivable detail has been addressed including dual pilot chairs featuring electric heat, lumbar support, and massaging units along with dual Penguin air conditioners.

The dash, headlights & taillights, visor, rooftop storage pod, front TV unit, rear flat screen hideaway TV, and sound system have all been updated.

The coach was driven to Florida and back to the Midwest last March and performed marvelously.  All units, from the drive-train, engine, electrical, plumbing, heating etc, work better than when this motorcoach came off the assembly line!

This lists just a few of the details that have been addressed to make her a very comfortable and stunning coach that sleeps 5 in style.  I would certainly keep this wonderful unit and tour the country in it rather than a dull slab-sided just off the factory line unit if only I had the time!

Recent work performed on the motorcoach:

Four new Firestone heavy ply tires (10/09)

Dash A/C updated to R134 (10/09)

New dash A/C compressor (11/09)

New mufflers(2/10)

New window screens (2/10)

Clean & rebuild carburetor (7/10)

I have dozens of photos of this coach if you’d like me to send them to you.  I also have all the documentation from her rebuild with a photo album with all the work being done.
